Hidden Threads is a story-driven 2D mystery and puzzle game developed by Midnight Umbrella for CMPUT 250 at the University of Alberta.

In this beta build, players explore a strange and unsettling environment, search for hidden clues, interact with objects, use an in-game phone system, and solve a series of mini-games to uncover the truth. The game combines environmental exploration, clue collection, and puzzle-solving to create a tense investigative experience.

This release represents our beta version, meaning the core gameplay, art, writing, sound, and programming are complete. We are now looking for feedback on gameplay flow, clarity, polish, bugs, and overall player experience as we prepare for the gold release.
